Our History
|
The Northern Colorado Intertribal Pow-wow Association (NCIPA), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was created in the summer of 1992 to provide opportunities for the Northern Colorado communities to share and participate in Native American cultures. Membership in NCIPA is open to any nationality, race or creed. In order to share the diverse Native American cultures with the community, we present an annual contest Pow-wow in the Fort Collins area. Each year we have attracted hundreds of visitors each day, including dancers and singers, many arts and crafts vendors, and spectators. Since we are a non-profit organization, we rely on donations in addition to other sources of funds to support our projects. If you would like to make a donation, click here.
