Local/Regional Native American performers - Please email me if you want to include your contact information.
Please remember that most of these people have full-time jobs and you will need to contact them well in advance... Also, be courteous and respectful and remember that not everyone can volunteer their time to you or your group. Be willing to pay the requested fee, if there is one. The people should be treated as you would any other "professional" you invite to your event. Include the performance in your budget and offer the group/individual an honoraria, rather than asking "do you charge a fee for this?" Also, some of the groups have many members and will have to spread the honoraria amongst all of them.

Please inform the group if you need an invoice beforehand. Don't tell them on the day of the performance that it will take several weeks to process the check. Please take care of this before the event so that you can pay your performers on the day of the performance. Note -- There are expenses that these people incur in coming to your event -- gas, mileage, wear & tear on their vehicles, travel time, setup/prep time, performance time, experience, knowledge, tear-down time, wear & tear on their instruments/outfits/etc.

AND -- if you decide to contact any of these individuals/groups, please let them know you found them on this website.
